Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or reserving any MyChair pieces.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyChair Studio's website, services, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or purchase our products.

2. About MyChair Studio

MyChair Studio ("we," "us," "our") is a New Zealand-based furniture restoration studio specializing in vintage chair restoration and reimagining. Each piece is carefully restored, reupholstered, and paired with exclusive artwork to create unique, one-of-a-kind collectibles.

3. Products and Availability

3.1 Unique Items: All MyChair pieces are one-of-a-kind. Once sold, items will never be remade or reproduced.

3.2 Monthly Collections: We release limited monthly collections. Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

3.3 Accuracy: We strive to accurately describe and photograph our products. However, due to monitor differences, actual colors may vary slightly from what appears on your screen.

4. Reservations and Payment Terms

4.1 Reservation Process: Items can be reserved through our website reservation system or by contacting us directly.

4.2 Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total purchase price is required to secure your reservation. This deposit must be paid within 48 hours of reservation confirmation.

4.3 Final Payment: The remaining 70% balance is due before shipping or collection. We will contact you to arrange final payment when your item is ready for delivery.

4.4 Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and other payment methods as specified during checkout.

4.5 Failure to Pay: If final payment is not received within 30 days of our payment request, we reserve the right to resell the item and retain the deposit.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are additional and will be calculated based on destination and item size.

5.2 International Shipping: We ship worldwide. International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

5.3 Delivery Timeframe: Delivery timeframes vary by location. We will provide estimated delivery dates upon payment confirmation.

5.4 Risk of Loss: Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 No Returns: Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of our restored pieces, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in cases of significant misrepresentation or defects.

6.2 Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

6.3 Inspection Period: You have 7 days from delivery to inspect your item and report any issues that were not disclosed in the product description.

7. Care and Maintenance

7.1 Care Instructions: Each piece comes with specific care instructions. Following these instructions is essential to maintain the quality and longevity of your furniture.

7.2 Warranty Disclaimer: While we take great care in our restoration process, vintage furniture may show signs of age and use. We do not warrant against normal wear and tear.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, text, artwork, and designs, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim related to your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
